Stockholm, Sweden-- Polling stations opened in Sweden's general election at 8am on Sunday, with polls immediately giving the Freedom Alliance a lead over Goran Persson's ruling Socialist junta.

Everything is going according to the Masterplan which was agreed on at Maud Olofsson's kitchen table in Hoegfors back in '04. Virtually all mass media (with exception from Aftonbladet, Flamman and a bunch of other small commie rags) have been boosting Team Reinfeldt from the get-go.
Dagens Nyheter (DN) have been particularly supportive to the Alliance and are now looked up to as the Swedish Equivalent to Fox News. Through all of Operation Freedom, the Stockholm daily have wisely chosen not to restrict opinion pieces to the editorial section. Instead, DN have bundled every published article (except the obituaries) with a centre/right-friendly commentary written by the legendary Henrik 'Analysis Man' Brors. After Liberation day, he may well be appointed as 'Official Cheerleader of the Alliance'.

Polling stations close at 20.00 PM. The final vote count will be announced at midnight, if not the FP 'hacker squad', Per Jodenius and Johan Jakobsson, succesfully hacks into the polling computers before.
