Stockholm, Sweden-- As the Alliance leaders strolled together through central Stockholm earlier today, they did something that nobody had expected - they made a first-ever and bold statement of environmental concern.

From the beginning of Operation Freedom, hostile leftist tree-huggers have accused the Alliance of totally dodging the environmental issues.
In a sense, the lentil-chewing bolsheviks are right - Team Reinfeldt has always identified that straightening up chaotic classrooms and getting the dole abusers to work is more important than building an ecological society. And they're totally right in doing so. Take the Greenhouse effect as an example - it's fun to talk about and everything, but so far only one man - Al Gore - has made more than a dime for it, whereas obedient students make great workers who generates money for a whole class in the society, just like people returning to work from sick leave, but with adjusted salaries. However, Reinfeldt, Olofsson, Haegglund and Leijonborg did play out the 'environment card' in the last hours of Operation Freedom. Just for the fun of it! The sight of the four Alliance chiefs strolling, instead of rolling in a motorcade, was considered as 'unexpected', 'a true surprise', even 'amazing' by the bystanders. They were doing something for the environment, and they did it together. Reinfeldt and his gang was also carrying flowers, in itself an expression of their love for the ecosystem. So now it's evident for everyone that Alliance for Sweden care about the environment. |
