Skelleftea, Sweden-- A conservative Moderaterna politician in Northern Sweden argues that Sweden need better legislation on abortions - and that the best abortion law so far is the one written back in 1938!

Anders Lööwenhöök, candidate for Moderaterna in Skelleftea, is a board member of 'Young Conservative Moderates' (formerly known as 'Moerkblatt vaern'). In an article entitled 'Long Live Life', published on Unga Konservativa Moderater's web bulletin, Loowenhook argues that the secularization of the Swedish society was a bad thing.
According to Loowenhook, one of the worst things with the ungodliness of the modern age is that the once so powerful laws limiting the right to have an abortion has been thrown away and substituted with new, very liberal ones. Since the so-called 'sexual revolution', abortions have skyrocketed. Some 35 000 living foetuses - all of them actually tiny humans with civil rights to protect - are killed every year, writes Loowenhook. Loowenhook wants to end this genocide. A good way, he argues, is to go back to the Swedish abortion laws of 1938. The old-school Swedish take on abortions is that all abortions are illegal, except emergency cases where a pregnancy pose a lethal threat to the woman, or if the pregnancy has occurred as a result of rape. Loowenhook states that the abortion law from '38 is not limiting women's rights, since they still would be allowed to protect themselves from pregnancies. Loowenhooks 'Young Conservative Moderates' have lots of other good ideas on how to build a perfect society. Read his text, check the web site and vote for Andreas Lööwenhöök on sunday - he's third candidate for the city council of Skelleftea!
